On April 23, 2025, Shandong Dongchen Ruishen New Material Technology Co., Ltd. announced the completion of its new R&D facility, which is now entering a 30-day publicity period. Located in the Zhangqiu District of Jinan City, the facility is designed to handle an annual capacity of 300 batches of nylon resins and 150 batches of modified resins. This development aims to drive breakthroughs in nylon resin technology and enhance the company’s R&D capabilities.
Upstream Partnership
On March 31, 2025, the Investment Promotion Bureau of Zibo City announced key projects for the new pharmaceutical industry in 2025. Among them is a collaboration between Tidetron Bioworks Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong Dongchen Ruishen New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The cooperation will focus on the production of 1,4-butanediol (BDO) and succinic acid, with the project tentatively located in the Zhangdian Dual Carbon Industrial Park, covering approximately 100 acres.
Tidetron is the only company in China utilizing biotechnological synthesis technology for BDO production, operating a 2,000 t/a production line that aligns with China’s national green and environmentally friendly production policies. As the world’s largest consumer of BDO, China’s market for BDO is expected to reach $6 billion by 2030. Once completed, the project is anticipated to generate RMB 180 million in sales revenue and a net profit of RMB 30 million.
