On US Reciprocal tariffs – Anhui Jinhe Industrial Co., Ltd. (002597.SZ) responded on April 7, 2025 to recent investor concerns regarding the US tariff hike, clarifying that its products, including acesulfame-K and sucralose, are not affected by the additional tariffs announced by the US government.

In 2024, Anhui Jinhe’s sweetener exports to the US accounted for approximately 6% of the company’s total consolidated revenue. Despite the ongoing challenges in the acesulfame market—marked by significant price fluctuations and a near-saturated domestic supply—the company remains focused on the growth. It is actively expanding into emerging overseas markets and ramping up its international production capacity to unlock new opportunities.
As a leading player in the sweetener industry, Anhui Jinhe’s production capabilities include an annual capacity of 8,500 tonnes of sucralose and 15,000 tonnes of acesulfame-K.
However, at 11:03 AM on April 7, 2025, the company’s stock hit its daily limit down, attributed to a broader global market downturn. Additionally, there have been signs of shareholder sell-offs in recent periods.
