The product in question—Vitamin A Palmitate in concentrations of 1.7MIU/Gm and 1.0MIU/Gm, in all forms, stabilized or otherwise, but excluding the 1.6MIU/Gm variant used for animal feed. The involved imports are under Indian Customs tariff codes 29362100, 29362290, 29362800, 29369000, 29362690, and 29362990.
Case development:
The investigation was initiated on March 28, 2024, following a complaint filed by Piramal Pharma Limited, an Indian pharmaceutical company. The review covered a dumping investigation period from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023. The damage assessment spanned four periods between April 2020 and September 2023.
